Pupil Premium

What is the Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and in 2012–13 individual schools were allocated funding for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces. Our Service Pupil Premium is available on our dedicated Service Pupils page.

We are a Schools North East partner school, and are committed to affecting change for disadvantaged pupils across our county and the North East (see the Manifesto for North East Education).

You can view or download our Pupil  Premium Strategy to find out how this has been used at our school.

Apply for Free School Meals

All children are eligible for free school meals if they’re in reception class; year 1; or year 2. We still ask that you apply using this form to prevent your child’s school missing out on additional funding which will benefit them for the rest of their primary education: https://fisportal.northyorks.gov.uk/Synergy/fsm_prereq.aspx
