Childcare Provision

Applegarth Primary School offers a full range of childcare provision which we have listed below:

Applegarth Breakfast Club (ABC)

Our well-established, popular breakfast club attracts up to 40 pupils per day. Mr Rowland, Miss Coffield, Mrs Brown and Mrs Wooldridge supervise and make balanced breakfasts for the pupils. We have a wide range of provision for children to access including a reading area (where children read with adults), ipads, Knex, construction, games and physical activity. We recently extended the opening hours to 7:30am- 8:55am Monday to Friday. Pupils are taken from breakfast club directly to their classes. The price of ABC is £4 and £3 for siblings who attend on the same day.

After School Club

We are proud to announce that our after school wrap around care has launched (March 2020). We provide care for up to 30 pupils who enjoy doing homework, reading, joining in with extra-curricular clubs and taking part in a wide range of arts and crafts with Miss Coffield. After School Club runs from 3:15pm – 6:00pm from Monday to Friday. The cost is £10 and £8 for siblings attending on the same day. The price includes a snack which is made on site by our catering team.
